Thankfully, from our initial inquiry to booking and the actual trip, Elite Pet Taxi exceeded our expectations and made the entire process seamless and stress-free. From the start, they responded quickly to our inquiry, providing a detailed quote, photos of their vehicles, and flexible payment options, including credit card—perfect since we hadn’t set up a UK bank account yet. Since it was our first time crossing an EU border with Robin, we were a bit anxious about the paperwork. Marcel and Lucia kindly offered to review Robin’s documents and quickly noticed a small detail missing: a mobile number and a signature on one of his passport pages. Their attention to detail was a lifesaver, and we passed through the border without a hitch. We chose the van option for extra comfort and luggage space, and it was worth every bit. The legroom was more generous than business class on a plane, and Robin had plenty of space to move around and settle comfortably. Despite bringing a substantial amount of luggage—three large, one medium, and two small suitcases, plus several bags, a dog food container, and a folded crate—everything fit perfectly. On the day of the trip, Marcel arrived ten minutes early, which was incredibly impressive given he drove from the UK that morning. The van was stocked with water bottles and snacks, and Marcel’s friendly demeanor made the long journey enjoyable. He encouraged us to stop as often as needed for Robin’s comfort, though we only made one quick stop before reaching the border in France. The border crossing was shockingly smooth—far easier than dealing with airports! Driving straight onto the train and experiencing the brief half-hour ride was a unique and pleasant surprise. On the UK side, traffic was light, and we ended up arriving in central London an hour and a half earlier than expected. We cannot recommend Elite Pet Taxi highly enough.
